ESPN’s “Meyers” was just the latest in a series of scripted television shows to be pulled from the air.
The program, which ran for eight seasons, was canceled in May and was picked up by cable channel Showtime.
The network has not released a statement on the Meyers stories.
“Meers” stars Bruce Meyers as an outspoken, outspoken news anchor who often challenges the conventional wisdom of the news media.
Meyers said he felt compelled to “do a little research” and “find out what really happened” to the victims of 9/11, including former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani, who was the president at the time.
“You want to see what really went down, and it was a little weird,” Meyers told the New York Times in 2015.
Meys first series, “Inside Amy Schumer,” was canceled when Schumer stepped down from her show after the show’s 10th season. “
In the years since, Meyers has been criticized for using the news as a prop for his own personal views and has made his views public, including on social media, which has led to a backlash from some members of the press.
Meys first series, “Inside Amy Schumer,” was canceled when Schumer stepped down from her show after the show’s 10th season.
A fourth season, “The View,” was set to premiere in 2019, but the show was canceled as well after allegations of rape against Meys co-anchor Joy Behar. “
The Meyers Show” was renewed for a third season in 2018, but it was canceled amid controversy over allegations of sexual harassment and misconduct against Meyers.
A fourth season, “The View,” was set to premiere in 2019, but the show was canceled as well after allegations of rape against Meys co-anchor Joy Behar.
“Inside the Show” and the new “Meys” are scheduled to air on HBO starting April 8.
The series also is set to air live in the U.K. on the channel’s online streaming service HBO NOW.
A representative for HBO did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
“This is a little strange, a few things have been changed and a lot has changed,” Meys told the Times in May.
“I do think that it is a good show, but I think that people should have a little bit of leeway with it.
There are a lot more stories that have been told and the fact that there are stories that are now being told doesn’t mean that you can just jump to conclusions about what happened.”
Meyers, who is black, has previously criticized other prominent figures in American media, including CNN’s Piers Morgan and The Washington Post’s Dana Milbank, and has also been critical of President Donald Trump.
Meers has said the media’s portrayal of the president is “just a little crazy.”
Meys said he is trying to “put some distance between myself and the president.”
“I’ve always had a little of a distaste for the press, and that’s something that I try to figure out how to address, and I think the most interesting thing about that is that it seems to be more of a problem than it’s been,” he told The Times.
“But it’s not really something that you have to fix.
I’m trying to understand how people have been treated in this country.
Hopefully, the show will get back up, and maybe some of the problems that people have faced with the media will go away.”
