Writer/director Josh Boone has been busy working on the third installment of his horror franchise, ‘Kongsong: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor,’ according to his Twitter account.
The film is slated to hit theaters in the United States and Canada in November.
It follows the return of the iconic Kong, who’s still recovering from a brain injury that made him a “monster.”
The Kongs have been plagued by demons and the paranormal.
In the latest installment, they must work together to fight off demons and other creatures in an underwater city that’s been transformed by the demon-controlled Kongs.
Boone has previously directed the third and fourth films in the franchise.
The film is also directed by James Wan.
The fourth installment, ‘The Demon’s Daughter,’ is set to hit cinemas on December 7.
